Letting Go of "Should"

Kate Wilson is a Toronto-based photographer and graduate of the Six-Figure Studio, and I wanted to share a conversation that we had together. Many of us build our photography businesses based on what is on-trend or what we think we "should" be doing, but that often leads us burnt out and broke. We dove into this topic together.

HIGHLIGHTS

Free yourself from the "should" trap in order to build up your dream business.

Being stuck in doing what you should be doing is a form of self-sabotage. Kate took a risk in joining the first cohort of the Six-Figure Studio, and she was hoping to gain some clarity in what she does. She said the program exceeded her expectations, and those 90 days transformed her business.

Accountability was a key factor for Kate's success in the Six-Figure Studio. The weekly calls gave her the energy and motivation to implement the coursework. Doing the work in realtime together was so important.

Biggest takeaway from the Six-Figure Studio?

Kate's biggest takeaway from the group coaching program was clarity. You get to build your business the way you want to, and now Kate feels extremely clear on who her ideal client is and what she wants her business to look like. Having clear systems in place allows her to run her business smoothly and efficiently.

If you are considering joining the Six-Figure Studio, Kate says to take the plunge. Look at where you are now and where you want to go, and picture how much further you could go with the right support. She can't see how it couldn't help your business, no matter where you are in your career.
