How to Use Slowness in Your Business to Work on Your Business with Tegan Monaco
Tegan Monaco is a Toronto-based family photographer who joined the Six-Figure Studio in December 2020. She decided that it was the perfect time to work on her business! I was so excited to welcome Tegan onto the show and share our conversation with you.
HIGHLIGHTS
Sometimes people think it's too early on in their business to invest in a program.
Tegan realized she really wanted to pursue photography near the end of 2020, and she knew the program could help her grow. She reached out to me directly, and after chatting felt like she was at the right place for the program.
I tell people all the time that the framework we follow inside the Six-Figure Studio is the same framework that I follow myself. It's basically an operation manual that you can use no matter where you are in your business!
What were your biggest takeaways of the Six-Figure Studio?
Going through the program really simplified the process from start to finish for Tegan. She got clear on what she really loves to photograph and learned how to take it forward. She started to grow her email list and social media, once she determined who her ideal client is. Tegan feels more confident in her communication and pricing, and it feels more natural for her.
One of the benefits of a group coaching program is that you realize you aren't alone. You find out that there are people all over the world that are on the same journey as you. It is both humbling and encouraging. When Tegan started the Six-Figure Studio, she did not have that supportive community that she now has.
Do you have any advice for those who are afraid of investing in themselves?
Tegan initially was nervous about the investment because she was so new in business, but she recommends going for it. The price didn't matter to her, because she felt as though she really needed the tools that the Six-Figure Studio gave her.
